Rampar R10 Tuff
This Rampar R10 was
listed on eBay.com (US site) during 2005. I copied the photos to share on
the Burner Resource because I believe that they represent an interesting illustration of
the differences between the Rampar R10 Tuff and the
Raleigh R10 variation.
Compare and Contrast:
This Rampar R10 has the "R" headbadge whereas the
Raleigh R10 has a variation of the
Nottingham heron.
This bike has the double hole front gusset (in common with the Mark I Raleigh
Burners from 1982 onwards) whilst the
Raleigh R10 Tuff has a double "R" gusset reminiscent of the Mark I
Pro Burner.
Finally the Raleigh has a hard plastic saddle and nylon padset compared with the
cushioned saddle and vinyl "Rampar" padset seen here.
I would have loved to have added this bike to my collection, however this was just
not practical (due to space restrictions)! I really hope it found
a good home and if you know what became of this bike then please drop me a line
