"As you can guess, the paintjob on this one was a real challenge to get right!  Before restoration the frame and forks were in a real mess - it truly amazed me what a bit of elbow grease and spray paint can do!

I received the decals through an eBay deal, the pedals came from Germany whilst the wheels, tyres, seat and brakes came from the US.  I feel that the Skyway mags finish the bike off better than the old steel wheels.

Working with as many of the original components as possible, I spent a long time preparing the surfaces before even considering applying any paint. The end result completely exceeded my expectations!  The choice of white paint used for the base was far superior than the white I used on my Team Burner - you live and learn.  After completing this paint job I feel that I could take on just about any Burner resto'..!"
